Monday Night Laser Force is an electrifying series of skill-based games designed to crown a single champion. Participants will compete in four distinct matches:
- Solo Supercharged
- Highlander
- Shadows
- Level Up
Throughout the evening, players will earn points in each match, with an official scorekeeper tracking and compiling scores.
Solo Supercharged
Solo Supercharged offers a fast-paced take on the classic Laser Force mission. Players zap opponents and earn bonus points by destroying in-field targets, which require three consecutive hits. The main twist is a shorter 3-second deactivation time, allowing players to get back into action quickly. With unlimited shots and lives, no one can be eliminated before the mission ends. The player with the most points at the end wins. Ideal for fast action and minimal downtime!
Level Up
Level Up is an exciting Laserforce game mode where players start at Level 1 and aim to advance through nine skill levels by tagging opponents and targets to score points. As players progress, they unlock new abilities and features that enhance their gameplay. The goal is to reach the highest rank possible within the mission’s duration, adding a competitive element where performance directly impacts advancement. This mode offers a dynamic, fast-paced experience that rewards players with improved abilities as they level up.
Highlander
Highlander is a thrilling Laserforce game mode where players, as “Immortals,” battle to be the last one standing and claim “The Prize.” Players have unlimited shots and missiles, but shots and missiles initially fire slowly and get faster as the mission progresses. To eliminate opponents, players must missile them, and the eliminated player’s score and special points go to the player who made the kill. Special abilities, like Reset and Shield, can be activated with special points to help in the fight. As the mission nears its end, the action speeds up, with faster missiles and quicker decision-making required to avoid being zapped. The game ends when the time runs out or only one player remains.
Shadows
Shadows is a stealth-focused Laserforce mission where players must rely on cunning and strategy. Players can switch between Shot mode, where they can fire both shots and missiles with visible lights flashing, and Missile mode, where they can only fire missiles with no visible lights, making them harder to track. While in Missile mode, missiles lock on faster, and players cannot be locked onto normally. Switching between modes can be done at any time. Players must avoid being missile-locked, as their lights will intensify. Deactivating players or in-field targets rewards points, and the game is further complicated by the activation of Warbots, which can help players by brightening their opponents’ lights temporarily. The game ends when the time runs out, testing each player’s ability to stay undetected and strategically outplay their opponents.
Masters
Masters is a competitive Laserforce mission tailored for tournament play, based on the Individual mission format. All players start at the same skill level, equivalent to level six, and there are no special abilities like “Invulnerability” or active Warbots. Players can score points by zapping opponents, missile-ing them, and destroying in-field targets, emphasizing skill and strategy. The mission delivers an intense, fast-paced experience where the player with the highest score emerges as the winner.
Gladiator
Gladiator is a high-stakes Laserforce mission where players aim to be the last remaining Gladiator by eliminating all opponents. Players start with a number of lives based on their skill level, with higher-level players having fewer starting lives. Every time a player is zapped, they lose a life and are deactivated. Once all lives are gone, they’re eliminated from the mission. Additional lives can be gained by zapping opponents or destroying in-field targets. This mission type is fast-paced and skill-driven, with no special abilities available to players. The game ends when only one player or team remains.
